Lush things from Lush

So, the unstoppable force that is my shopping habit strikes again. I recently went to Lush to get myself a few treats. I just wanted to give you feedback, or just recommendations really. I've never used something from Lush and disliked it, so let's face it, there'll be no negativity here. All of these products were purchased from the lovely little Lush store in Plymouth, and all the photos are my own.

First up is the Intergalactic Bath Bomb. It smells just dreamy and refreshing. Everytime I come home with a little Lush bag now, my mum is peeking at what I've bought. I think she'll be in there treating herself soon, or if not, I know what to get her for Mother's Day! But anyway, we both really liked the smell of this one. It contains a combination of ingredients that create a great balance, the peppermint oil is invigorating whereas the verivert oil is relaxing. And the colours, oh it was just gorgeous. Like a little firework in the bath, which turned into a pool of midnight blue full of glitter. I will say, you'll have to rinse the bath out after, but it's definitely worth it.

Next up is Don't Look At Me, one of the amazing Fresh Face Masks. First of all just look at that colour, gorgeous! It smells quite lemony which is nice and refreshing, and the lemon juice is great for toning the skin. It's also a great exfoliating mask, I purchased it because I was having a bad face day to be honest. I had some dry skin on my nose despite my oily complexion and it was looking bad under my make-up, but this sorted me right out. It also has murumuru butter which moisturises which definitely helps improve the complexion. For added moisture I also followed up with a sample of the Lush Vanishing Cream I had been given, it was nice and lavender-y and I'll definitely be giving it another try.

Look at this little beauty! The Unicorn Horn Bubble Bar. I purely had to get this for the name and appearance, but you'll be glad to know it's also a great product! I just found the scent and bubbles so relaxing, it turns the bath pink, but only slightly. It's a completely different experience to the likes of a crazy bath bomb. All you do is crumble it under running water, which is fun because you get pretty colours all over your hands, and watch the bath fill with bubbles and baby pink water. I think this one is just from their Valentine's range, which upsets me because I want it all the time! I must pick up some more before they're gone!

Lastly is an oldie but goodie. I've been using this little one for absolutely ages! It's the Bubblegum Lip Scrub. This is a godsend if you love a matte lip like me. I find that wearing matte lipsticks all the time can really dry out my lips, and if my lips are dry then matte lipstick looks just terrible. So this is the saviour, you just get a bit on your finger and start scrubbing away and it gets all the dry, dead skin gone! Also, it tastes fabulous, so when you're done scrubbing you can just lick your lips (it's fine the exfoliant is caster sugar!) and you're ready to go.

I'm never one to stop experimenting with Lush, so there are sure to be future posts of me trying new things! Do you have any recommendations?

Stay sassy x
